The hotel had an exceptionally friendly staff that made the check-in process smooth and welcoming.

The decor and furnishings in my room were noticeably aged, making for a less comfortable aesthetic.

    spacious bedroom
    comfy beds
    good water pressure
    bed bugs
    no breakfast

The location really stands out. Just a 3-minute walk to the metro made it super easy to explore the city. The bedroom felt spacious and the beds were comfy, perfect for resting after a long day. There’s decent water pressure in the bathroom, which I appreciated during showers. However, I faced a couple of issues. I found it odd that they don’t offer breakfast. Even if they communicated that upfront, it was still a drawback for my stay. On top of that, the acoustic isolation wasn’t great. I could hear every arrival at reception during the night. The heater also didn’t shut off, leaving the room warm in the mornings. Lastly, I had a concerning issue with cleanliness when I discovered bed bugs. The staff didn’t seem to address it properly despite my complaints, and rooms were only cleaned once during my stay.

    room size
    manned reception
    poor location

The room size accommodates a solo traveler comfortably. Manned reception 24/7 adds a sense of security while navigating the area.

No safety deposit box available despite what the fine print indicates. The location isn’t close to major tourist sites, making it a bit less convenient if you prefer quick access to attractions. Limited power sockets forced me to choose between charging devices or plugging in appliances. Breakfast isn’t offered, and nighttime acoustics leave a lot to be desired. The heater couldn't be turned off during the night, making mornings uncomfortably warm.

    noisy nights
    missing amenities

the location is decent, but accoustic isolation is non-existent. the noise from reception is unbearable at night. i also noticed no safety deposit box in my room, how outdated! i woudlve expected some complimentary upgrade or gift for my troubles, but apparently, that's too much to ask. almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

During our one-night stay, the family room size accommodated us well, despite some hiccups with the rust in the bath and a noisy air conditioner. Quick tip, be sure to confirm reception location if arriving late. Overall, we just needed a place to sleep, and it served its purpose.

    Couples seeking comfort

We had a great time with a spacious room and a beautiful view of a famous landmark. The staff was always friendly, they even helped us out when we asked for extra towels which were missing at first.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but considering the location and service it was still acceptable.

    cozy heater

This place was a great match for a weekend in Barcelona with outstanding value. The heater in my room was consistent and kept me cozy during my stay. Make sure to check the timings of the reception, as they can be slow at times.

    spacious room
    huge balcony
    cozy lounge
    confusion with reception

We had a lovely stay with a spacious room and a huge balcony where we enjoyed morning coffee. The hotel also had great spots to unwind, like a cozy lounge and a nice outdoor area. The only drawback was some confusion with reception being on a different floor. just keep that in mind when you arrive. 😊
